When asked how I got into acupuncture, I always say that acupuncture found me rather than me discovering it. I therefore consider this work more of a calling than a career, and this passion is at the core of my practice.
As a practitioner who primarily works within the Five Element tradition but with some TCM grounding, I focus on treating each person at both a constitutional level and symptomatic level with a constant focus on root cause. My approach, therefore, goes beyond just addressing surface symptoms but working with the body as a whole by looking at underlying patterns along with the person’s constitutional nature and bringing body, mind, and spirit back into harmony and balance.
I work in a holistic way, supporting your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. I have helped many people with emotional and mental health issues such as anxiety, panic attacks, stress, depression, grief, burnout, and trauma, etc. I also assist on a physical level to manage and relieve pain. I recognise that unresolved emotions from past experiences, as well as ongoing external stressors, can significantly impact our mental health and, over time, our physical health—especially when it comes to chronic conditions.
I am dedicated to creating unique, individualised treatments and care plans for every patient. Although I have a special interest in emotional and mental health, I work with a broad range of conditions using acupuncture and supportive adjunct techniques tailored to your needs.
I am a registered and licensed acupuncturist and a proud member of the British Acupuncture Council, which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. This ensures that my practice upholds the highest professional standards for your safety and well-being.

Always a great experience, Aqsa is a wonderful physiotherapist and a lovely person. She puts you at ease and is very friendly but still maintains her professionalism. I cannot recommend her highly enough.Posted on aiden robinsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I went after being in bed for a week, the physios expertise was obvious, having been driven there as I was unable to get there myself I could have skipped out, my issue was diagnosed, I had some treatment from deep tissue massage and stretching and I was good to go. I was given follow up home exercises and went back for follow up appointments. Recent I injured myself working out on my shoulder and went back and had excellent treatment again. I really recommend it and can’t beleive people struggle with issues and don’t go. It’s well worth the money the even have half price diagnosis at the momentPosted on steve demetriouTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really effective and professional - would highly recommend MukulPosted on Nigel NigelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve recently completed a course of physiotherapy sessions with Mr Mukul Kaushik at Physio & Health Matters Limited following an NHS referral, and I can confidently say the experience has been outstanding from start to finish. Having undergone multiple spinal operations over the years, I’ve lived with ongoing weakness, stiffness, pins and needles, and discomfort in my legs and hips. I had come to accept this as something I would simply have to live with. However, the treatment and structured support I received here has genuinely changed that outlook. The team demonstrated a deep understanding of my condition, particularly the impact on my core and stabilising muscle groups, and tailored a programme that has delivered real, measurable improvements. I am now experiencing far less pain, improved mobility, and a noticeable difference in my day-to-day quality of life. What truly sets this clinic apart is the people. Every member of staff has been professional, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout. Even the front-of-house experience deserves recognition — the receptionist is consistently efficient, welcoming, and a great first impression for the company. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Physio & Health Matters to anyone needing expert, results-driven physiotherapy care.Posted on Ed, Edd, EddyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My first session. The best Sports/ Deep Tissue massage I have had. I have been training for 20+ years and now regularly Oly lift, Run, do CrossFit and Mobility. The Physio (Aqsa) listened to what areas I wanted to focus on and quickly identified the knots and tension giving me issues and began working them out. She indentified other inbalances and issues relating to training capacity and gave me advice on how to prevent any future issues. I have booked again. Great.Posted on Bob CharlesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 10/10 brilliant service 10/10 very professional, 10/10 hobble in with pain walked out with a smile no more pain was worth every penny
