Sara Mumtaz – Physiotherapist
Physiotherapist
My name is Sara, and I am a qualified Physiotherapist with over ten years of experience specialising in musculoskeletal (MSK) health and rehabilitation. I earned my BSc in Physiotherapy in Pakistan in 2014, which provided a strong foundation for my clinical practice. To expand my expertise, I completed an MSc in Sports Medicine from the University of Chester, UK, where I gained valuable knowledge in sports injuries, prevention, and advanced MSK management.
Throughout my career, I have developed a keen interest in the assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment of a wide range of MSK conditions. I am passionate about helping patients recover from injuries, reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life. My approach is personalised, focusing on tailored treatment plans that address each individual’s unique needs and requirements.
I am excited to have recently joined Physio and Health Matters, where I provide comprehensive physiotherapy care. My practice combines hands-on manual therapy techniques with innovative methods such as Kinesio taping, alongside targeted rehabilitation exercises. This integrated approach aims to support effective recovery, enhance function, and prevent recurrence of injury.
I live in Coventry with my husband and daughter. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, socialising with friends, and exploring new destinations through travel. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is vital for well-being and plays a crucial role in the healing process.
I am committed to ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in physiotherapy, ensuring I offer the best possible care to my patients.
