When asked how I got into acupuncture, I always say that acupuncture found me rather than me discovering it. I therefore consider this work more of a calling than a career, and this passion is at the core of my practice.
As a practitioner who primarily works within the Five Element tradition but with some TCM grounding, I focus on treating each person at both a constitutional level and symptomatic level with a constant focus on root cause. My approach, therefore, goes beyond just addressing surface symptoms but working with the body as a whole by looking at underlying patterns along with the person’s constitutional nature and bringing body, mind, and spirit back into harmony and balance.
I work in a holistic way, supporting your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. I have helped many people with emotional and mental health issues such as anxiety, panic attacks, stress, depression, grief, burnout, and trauma, etc. I also assist on a physical level to manage and relieve pain. I recognise that unresolved emotions from past experiences, as well as ongoing external stressors, can significantly impact our mental health and, over time, our physical health—especially when it comes to chronic conditions.
I am dedicated to creating unique, individualised treatments and care plans for every patient. Although I have a special interest in emotional and mental health, I work with a broad range of conditions using acupuncture and supportive adjunct techniques tailored to your needs.
I am a registered and licensed acupuncturist and a proud member of the British Acupuncture Council, which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. This ensures that my practice upholds the highest professional standards for your safety and well-being.
