Akshay Dhobale – Physiotherapist
Physiotherapist
I am a Physiotherapist registered with the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP). Equipped with a BSc in Physiotherapy (BPTH) and an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Nottingham.
My expertise lies in musculoskeletal and sports injuries. I prioritise personalised care and ensure that my patients receive the most effective and evidence-based treatments. I believe in empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools to actively participate in their wellbeing, fostering a collaborative relationship for not just physical recovery but also sustainable health improvements.
In addition to my core qualifications, I hold certifications in kinesiology taping, neurodynamics and sports trauma management. My experience extends beyond traditional clinical settings; I actively contribute to the success of a football team, providing services in pitch-side support and injury clinics.
My diverse experience includes working with the older population, addressing women’s health concerns and managing both inpatient and outpatient departments for orthopaedic cases. My involvement in sports and exercise medicine, highlighted by participation in events like the Montane Lakeland 50 and 100 and the Pune International Marathon, enriches my understanding of diverse individual needs across fitness levels and backgrounds.
Outside of work, I find joy in capturing memories through photography, playing football and staying active through workouts. During my off-duty hours, my love for cooking Indian cuisine and savouring biryani reflects my zest for life.
