Maintenance physiotherapy aims to restore and maintain maximum movement and functionality of the body throughout the lifespan, it is known to improve impairment, pain levels, and quality of life. During regular maintenance sessions, the physiotherapist would create a maintenance plan and incorporate a variety of treatments such as manual therapy, soft tissue massage, acupuncture, electrotherapy and exercise therapy to address any muscle tension or issues with movement, posture, or alignment. The treatment plan would be reviewed regularly to ensure clients are progressing well with exercises and daily life activities.
