Knee & Hip Pain

Treatments Offered

As an expert in physiotherapy and health, we provide a diverse range of treatments tailored to effectively alleviate knee and hip pain.

Knee Pain

Knee pain is a common and impactful complaint. Our physiotherapists assess the root cause of your pain and develop a tailored treatment plan. Manual therapy techniques improve joint mobility and therapeutic exercises promote flexibility, stability and prevent future injuries. We educate on proper body mechanics for daily activities and sports. We closely monitor your progress to ensure the best outcomes. Our goal is to relieve your knee pain and provide you with the tools and knowledge to maintain a healthy and pain-free lifestyle.

Hip Pain

The hip joint, a weight-bearing mechanism, forms a ball and socket comprising the femoral head and acetabulum of the pelvis. Hip pain, whether resulting from musculoskeletal imbalances, injury, arthritis or referred pain from other body parts, can cause substantial discomfort. Common musculoskeletal contributors to hip pain include muscle strains, tendonitis, bursitis and joint disfunction.

Advanced stages of hip pain may result in continuous pain, restricted motion and joint ‘creaking’ or ‘crunching.’ Joint instability or muscular weakness can sometimes lead to the sensation of hip dislocation.

The degenerative process cannot be reversed; however, a Chartered Physiotherapist may greatly relieve symptoms. Some treatment plans are available for joint mobilisations, manual traction, soft tissue mobilisations, stretching, strengthening, electrotherapy, Acupuncture and tailored home exercise programmes.
